I was part of September 2020 batch. I am joining Google as a Engineering Manager L6. In start-ups I had offers for director of engineering positions with lucrative offers.
I did some serious preparation with IK and I took the full advantage of all the mock interviews. People like Yannis, Chandra, Hien really helped me to get my leadership and behavioural preparations to the next level.
With the help of Omkar, Niloy and Vivek I was able to crack any kind of system design interview. The templates for the system design grounds given by IK are super super helpful. No system design book cuts closer.
Similarly for coding, the fundamentals given by Omkar for recursion, Graphs, trees, were so helpful. And finally when I did mock interviews with some Googlers, that was the ultimate booster to my preparation.
I cant imagine that without IK I would have been able to crack companies like Google and Uber in first shot itself. On top of that, the feedback from recruiters was that I had nailed the interviews like anything. Each and every interviewer were impressed with my performance. Thanks to my performance I was able to negotiate some really good paycheque for me. Actually I have got 82% hike.
